Terms of Use & Safety

Conditions and safety limitations for using Offroad Tool Hub calculators and off-road planning content.

Effective date: October 5, 2026

Planning information

Offroad Tool Hub provides general educational content and arithmetic estimates. It is not a fitment service, engineering certification, recovery instruction course, or substitute for manufacturer guidance. Using a calculator does not establish that equipment is safe or suitable for your circumstances.

Your inputs and verification

You are responsible for verifying inputs, units, ratings, and measurements. Follow the owner’s manual for your exact model and year and the instructions for tires, wheels, trailers, winches, and recovery equipment. Individual component limits can be exceeded even when a total-weight estimate is below a stated rating.

Off-road safety

Use approved protective equipment, seating, restraints, and operating practices. Do not exceed vehicle or trailer limits. Recovery work can cause serious injury; seek qualified training and assistance. Fuel estimates are uncertain and should not be your only basis for route or emergency planning.

Availability and errors

The site and estimates are provided as available without a promise of completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular task. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the operator disclaims warranties and liability arising from reliance on the estimates. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Content and third-party links

You may use the calculators for personal planning and link to site pages. Manufacturer names and external references identify source material; they do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Third-party information may change.

Questions

For questions or corrections, email swensondigital@gmail.com or use the correction-report instructions.

Reference and shared estimates

Reviewed specifications describe only the named year, trim and market, subject to source qualifications and manufacturer revisions. Shared calculator inputs are supplied by the person sharing them and are not independently verified. Physical trailer fit, a weight margin or a winch selection baseline does not certify a safe or lawful setup. Manufacturer instructions, actual weighing, qualified inspection and applicable requirements control.
