Match the manual before the specification
Confirm model year, exact trim, market and model ID. Engine, transmission and final-drive fluids can have separate requirements. Do not transfer a capacity from a related engine or a neighboring model year. Manufacturer revisions, identification labels and the applicable manual control.
Oil and fluid capacities
A published capacity describes a specified condition; a drain-and-refill, filter change and dry-engine fill may use different quantities. Follow the complete manufacturer procedure and level check. The RZR record includes reviewed oil references with temperature conditions; Ranger and Sportsman also have reviewed capacity references. Fields without an applicable reviewed source remain unknown.
Intervals, air filters and belts
Record hours, distance and dates using the manufacturer’s schedule. Follow whichever limit the manual says comes first and its break-in and severe-use provisions. Dust, mud, water and heavy loading can change service needs. No generic replacement mileage or belt life is assumed here. A symptom or warning requires investigation, even when a scheduled interval has not arrived.
Battery and electrical information
Match voltage, chemistry, terminal layout and manufacturer compatibility before replacement or charging. Amp-hours alone do not establish starting performance or safe accessory runtime. Use the battery runtime tool and electrical load tool for transparent planning assumptions, then confirm actual system limits.
Tires, wheels and pre-ride checks
Read the vehicle’s pressure and approved tire guidance, rather than using the tire sidewall maximum as an operating target. Inspect visible damage and follow documented wheel/fastener instructions. Do not guess torque values. The tire-size calculator compares geometry; it does not approve a modification.

When a field is missing
Unknown means not verified for that exact record. Use the original documentation or qualified service support. You can submit a manufacturer source; corrections are reviewed before becoming public. The checklist is not a service procedure or safety certification.
